Travel money provider FairFX compared January 2018 prices for a two-night stay in a variety of rooms at Trump hotels across the world with the same stay in January 2017 – marking a year since Donald Trump was inaugurated as President of the United States.

The analysis by FairFX aims to highlight how Brexit could affect the cost of studying at European universities that were included in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2018. It is based on tuition fees, living costs and currency rates.
Pupils in Scotland missed nearly a million days of education during term time in the past year – the highest total on record – because of unauthorised holidays. The startling figures from Scottish Labour have revealed that 910,272 school days were lost to unauthorised holidays. A total of 0.7 per cent of school sessions were missed in 2016-17, up from 0.5 per cent in 2014-15.
